Steal me...

I made this... please feel free to steal it and put it on your blog...

In the same theme of theft, I am stealing an idea from Nick who stole it from Todd and letting everyone ask me questions.

Go on, whatever you like.

Off to play grand theft auto for a report I have to write..

Hi Knitty,
I have a question, perhaps not a very exciting one but one that I think is important when I am "knowing" people... so
What is your favourite book? When did you read it and what is it about the book that appeals to you? And one more thing, if someone had a different favourite book and asked you to read it would you try?

Twisted- My favorite book? I just read "Wicked" and I loved it because it had great, strong female characters and some fantasy. My favorite from university was "Green Grass, Running Water". I'm always up for suggestions and have yet to be let down by one, but here in Oz books are EXPENSIVE!!

TFG- 25
and cultural studies for an advanced high school class.

Knitty: Am currently reading Wicked! Good thing you gave it ups.

My Question: Do you feel that staying strong as a feminist becomes more and more difficult as you submerse yourself in a world that is unlikely to hear your words or want to step up to the plate and start doing something about it?
(Can you read between the lines and see how this applies to me?)

Also: What is your most favorite article of clothing?

Why am I tired all the time?

Fritz- Damn, I wasn't expecting a question like that! I think that by staying true to yourself and trying to fight the little battles that come up in work and relationships you can feel like you have been heard. I mean I'm going into a profession that is classic "women's work" but there are going to be hundreds of children that will (hopefully) hear my voice and be somewhat effected by it.

Also, my favorite item of clothing is my thai fisherman pants that you can see here. (thats obviously not me.)

Ubie- Because you are a fantastic mum.

What the hell?

I interviewed you so I don't really have any questions.

I guess, what ar you going to bring me from Australia?

Blogger ginonymous said...

bring him ass and tim-tams, and for me, tim-tams as well. Come play my meme. Dammit. That's it.

if you were living in Canada would you be offended by the slogan "where the bloody hell are you?"
because i'm starting to think every country outside Oz is a bunch of crybabies.

Blogger Knitty Kitty said...

Nick- your interview encapsulates my entire existence? And how about some TimTams for you and gin and some Kangaroo jerky to boot?

Gin- I'm a coming.
Loz- That is the biggest bunch of fucking bullshit I've ever heard. The Canadian TV censors are a bunch of crybaby bitches. Stupid Fuckers, Canadians swear like sailors. But seriously, I love the ad and think its stupid that all this controversy has started over it.

When are you going to go Sydney already?
