So I got a call today, been asked to go into my old school. The school I worked at for 8 weeks and thought I was gonna die (blogged about here and here)....
I've been asked to go back into the same class, the teacher I was working for has quit, in the second day of school, I have been asked to go in and take over, apparently only for one day.
There are no lesson plans
There may be no books
Knowing them, they will ask me to take over.
Ain't gonna happen.
First day back at work and already I wish I was working at starbucks or blockbuster instead...

Ubermilf was saying some more bad stuff about you today. She said that you were, like, a dork or something. I told her to stop it but she hit me and said if I told anyone that she would kill me.
is there a hot teacher that youll be having sex with in the teachers lounge in between classes? cause id work there forever if that was the case. (cant keep anything clean, can i?)

i had the exact same feeling today about working at starbucks.

WTF is up with bagging out The Wiggles and Hugh Jackman??? Australia keeps giving and giving to the US in the hopes that you will throw us some crumb of approval and this is how you repay us????

Actually Brisbane is great... it's probably the 3rd major city after Sydney and Melbourne.
Brisbane is a more laid-back version of the other 2, and it's impossible not to love the Queensland life and attitude. I'm definitely moving back someday, I was living about an hour north of Brisbane metro right on the coast.

Toronto: Well the old school Queenslanders are generally farmers and the like - they don't like change or progress and refuse to succumb to Daylight Saving. Seriously, QLD doesn't go on summer time because they don't want to. It's bad for the cows.
But in Brisbane it isn't so bad, there are alot of people from Sydney and Melbourne living in Brisbane now because the way of life is so much more casual and the weather is perfect.
Thanks for the advice, I now have been given a choice, gold coast, or brisbane...
