Still Alive!
Well I made it to Toronto just fine and am having an amazing time. The construction in the apartment is pretty awful, so we've been exploring the city, doing lots of walking. So amazed with the weather, wish I had packed sandals!

Today we walked around Kensington market, got all our groceries, and just generally enjoyed the scenery.

It's weird how spending your evenings home alone watching movies is boring, but when you do it with someone you love, its the most amazing fun time..

TorontoFilmGrad (my partner in crime) gave me my anniversary present (3 years!) and its a 20 gig iPod! I completely freaked, very surprised.

Tomorrow is the visit with the doctor to get my visa for Australia in order, then a movie. Tuesday is the Jason Mraz concert... good times people. good times...

More blogging when I return from Toronto

Yeah don't you go bringing that Asian Bird Flu here... from Canada. We don't let the diseased across the border, and by border I mean... the edge of the country.

it's so much cooler up here among the civilized.

oh i am such a snob.

I don't hate iPods, I hate teenagers that own them and all the little lemmings running down busy streets with the white chords protecting them from any human interaction... love the ipod, hate the headphones!

Who is Toronto Film Grad... I'm interested because my husband is an editor and I like to talk shop now and then.
I like your connection between lemmings and teenagers :) It's supposed to become easier the older you get to think for yourself but sometimes I wonder.

lilred i meant to highlight the fact that we're an island.

If TFG starts his own blog, should I harrass him or be kind and supportive?

Blogger Knitty Kitty said...

yeah, the headphones that come with the iPods are shit. you need to go out and buy some big ass Bose headphones, it'll be like a koala bear crapped a rainbow in your brain.

awww, nick. pretty!

don't those headphones cost about $23.2 million? and if the idea of the ipod is portable music, why would you want to carry the weight of 8 phonebooks on your head?

Blogger Knitty Kitty said...

I have some pretty kick ass noise cancelling headphone, but they aren't Bose. Never fly without them!

great visual by the way!

I don't know what kind of headphones you've been buying Loz but the ones I have weigh ounces and not pounds. Sorry, grams not kilograms.

LMK - Those sound like the right ones, I just recommended Bose becasue I am a brand whore. Love them.

oh good heavens, i don't buy big headphones. i buy sony ones - the ones that don't stick in your ear (cuz that's painful) but not ones that hug your entire ear. just the normal ones. $15 maximum. i'm sorry, i hate expensive things like nanos and $200 headphones.

You're banned from iPod/Cheeto house for a period of no less than three days.

Blogger Loz said...

no, that's not possible
i own a half share of that house, mister.
