I try to subscribe to the belief that everything happens for a reason. But I can't really see the reason here.
Jarrett Lee Lane... all around nice kid, very smarty, funny... or so says my dear friend of 20+ years, because one of HER dear friends is Jarrett's big sister.
be honest. use it as a lesson in bullying--appropriate ways to cope with bullying and to show how devastating words can be. maybe do an exercise where they all write nice things about one another, even anonymously, to improve their individual self-esteem and to demonstrate how easy it is to appreciate others? i'm going way out on a limb, but it sounds good to me.
